Class 10 students will be appearing for the English exam, while Class 12 students will take the Entrepreneurship paper. Both exams will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The CBSE has also issued important guidelines regarding exam conduct, including rules on dress code, permitted and prohibited items inside the exam hall, and penalties for any unfair practices.

CBSE Class 10 Board Exam Instructions:- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will commence the Class 10 and 12 board exams on February 15. On the first day, Class 10 students will appear for the English (Communicative) and English (Language and Literature) exams from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, while Class 12 students will take the Entrepreneurship exam during the same time slot. This year, approximately 44 lakh students from over 8,000 schools in India and abroad are expected to participate in the exams. Additionally, CBSE has released guidelines covering exam regulations, including dress code, permitted and prohibited items in the exam hall, and consequences for unfair practices (UFMs).

Allowed Items Inside the Exam Hall:

• Transparent pouch, geometry box, blue/royal blue pen, scale, writing pad, eraser, analogue watch, transparent water bottle, metro card, bus pass, and money.

Items Not Allowed:

• Stationery items such as calculators, textual material, pen drives, log tables (provided by centers), electronic pens, scanners, etc.
• Communication devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth, earphones, smartwatches, and cameras.
• Wallets, goggles, handbags, and pouches.
• Eatables: Only diabetic students can bring eatables, otherwise, no food is allowed.

Dress Code:

• Regular students: Must wear school uniforms.
• Private students: Light clothes are allowed.
