Subhadra Yojana NPCI, Important Update on Subhadra Yojana: Odisha Deputy CM Urges Beneficiaries to Activate NPCI Accounts: Today, Odisha's Deputy Chief Minister, Pravati Parida, shared an important update regarding the Subhadra Yojana and urged beneficiaries to activate their accounts with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).

Addressing the media, the Deputy Chief Minister stated, "We have encountered a total of 3,31,188 cases of NPCI failure, which is preventing the disbursement of Subhadra Yojana funds. The issue of NPCI failure is primarily between the banks and the beneficiaries. Therefore, applicants who have received a call or text message from their banks should visit their respective banks to resolve the issue."

To address these NPCI-related problems, special desks will be set up at banks. She advised beneficiaries to visit the banks on January 29 and 30 to resolve their NPCI activation issues so that they can receive their funds in the upcoming fourth phase.

The Deputy CM further informed, "As of now, we have received 1,07,23,294 applications. Out of these, 80,29,741 beneficiaries have already received their first installment. However, 1,55,158 applicants still need to complete their e-KYC, and the field verification of 1,75,119 applicants is pending."

She also mentioned that 1,55,158 applicants still need to link their accounts with Aadhar and complete the biometric verification to finalize their e-KYC.

Additionally, the Deputy CM noted that 31,692 beneficiaries had initially opted out of the scheme, but after the option to opt-in was provided, 17,448 beneficiaries have now re-registered to receive the Subhadra Yojana benefits.

Steps to Activate NPCI for Subhadra Yojana 2025

To activate the NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) for the Subhadra Yojana and resolve any related issues, follow these steps:

Check for Communication from Bank:

  • Beneficiaries who have received calls or text messages from their banks regarding NPCI failure should take action immediately.
  • The communication will contain details about the problem and how to resolve it.

Visit Your Bank:

  • Go to your respective bank where your account is linked to the Subhadra Yojana.
  • Make sure to carry your Aadhar Card and any other identification documents as required by the bank.

Talk to Bank Officials:

  • Upon reaching the bank, look for the special desk set up for NPCI-related issues for Subhadra Yojana beneficiaries.
  • Speak with the bank officials who will assist you in activating or resolving the NPCI-related issues.

Complete eKYC (If Pending):

  • If your eKYC is pending, ensure that you complete it by linking your Aadhar Card and completing biometric verification at the bank.

Confirm NPCI Activation:

  • After completing the process, ensure that your NPCI status is updated and active.
  • The bank officials will confirm the activation and inform you when you can expect to receive your next installment under the Subhadra Yojana.
